As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re reminded once again of the many blessings in our lives, and the opportunity to share them with those in need. This year, we have the chance to make a significant difference by helping to feed up to 2,500 local families, including 750 families at the Seabee Base.
Twenty-five years ago, the Turkey Drive Powered by Pinnacle Estate Properties, Inc. began with a vision to help just families. Since then, with your support, it has grown into a powerful community tradition. Last year, we provided meals for 2,500 families - feeding approximately 25,000 people - right here in Ventura County. From the 900 families in Simi Valley and Moorpark, to the 850 families in the Conejo Valley, and 750 families at the Seabee Base, our efforts reached far and wide. All of this was made possible through Food Share of Ventura County.
Since our humble beginning, we have provided groceries for over 329,500 people. This year, our goal is to provide groceries for up to 25,000 individuals, or 2,500 families. For just $35, you can help nourish a family of 10 with a full Thanksgiving meal, including a 14-16 lb. turkey, potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and fresh rolls. Donations must be received by Friday, November 22nd at 5:00 PM, and grocery deliveries will begin on Monday, November 25th, at 9:00 AM from our Simi Valley and Westlake Village offices. Every dollar donated goes to the cost of the purchase of groceries - Pinnacle Estate Properties, Inc. covers all marketing and administrative costs.
Last year, your generosity made all the difference, and we’re counting on you to help us surpass our goals again this year. By contributing, you’ll be supporting people from all walks of life - children, the elderly, veterans, and families facing hard times. Your donation is also tax deductible, so please make checks payable to Pinnacle Estates Properties Charity, a 501©3 Foundation, or donate online at www.PinnacleTurkeyDrive.com.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and continued support. Together, we can make this Thanksgiving for many in our community!
